Environmental Port Index
A complex environmental tool needed a story people could believe in. Working with stakeholders in Norway, Mr Smith Creative partnered with Transform Creative to shape the brand, website and campaign for the Environmental Port Index, turning technical data into a clear, human narrative. The result was a D&AD award winning identity that helped a local initiative grow into an international movement.
The Environmental Port Index began as a technical framework designed to measure and reduce emissions from ships in port. Working alongside Transform Creative and stakeholders in Norway, Mr Smith Creative helped shape a clearer public story around the project through branding, messaging, website design and campaign thinking. The challenge was making complex environmental data feel accessible, relevant and credible. The result was an identity that balanced science with humanity, helping the initiative gain traction across the maritime sector. It went on to win recognition with a Future Impact award from D&AD and helped the project grow from a local pilot to international platform.
