Get Hooked was created to bring affordable, high quality seafood to supermarket shelves with a fun new personality to match. Developed for Aberdeen based seafood producer Joseph Robertson, the identity combined playful typography, confident colour and strong shelf presence to help the brand stand out in a crowded retail environment. The result was a simple, memorable identity built around value, flavour and broad customer appeal.
The strength of the Get Hooked identity came from its simplicity. A confident name, fun colours and a visual idea that tied everything together. The bubble shapes hidden within the typography became one of those ideas that instantly felt right. Paired with honest food photography and subtle references to traditional fish and chip shops, the branding gave the range a recognisable character that felt fun, approachable and distinctly Scottish. A playful project that proved value brands can have personality, confidence and strong shelf appeal.
